GLOBAL SESSION: WHAT IS NEEDED FOR SUCCESSFUL PARTICIPATORY RESEARCH?

Organized by WRF, the GFAR and the Collective Action for Participatory Research and Family Farming.

Family Farmer Organizations, members of the Collective Action – AFA, COPROFAM, ESAFF, PDRR, PIFON, PROPAC –, will share concrete success experiences on active collaboration between farmers, researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders to collectively address agricultural challenges and co-create sustainable solutions. Relevant actors from innovation and research centers and other institutions – will reflect on the added value of ensuring inclusive and participatory approach in agricultural research and the related policy-making processes.
