VISITS

Agricultural Training School
The Derio Agrarian High School is a public Vocational Training center, with a broad history that has made it a reference center within the field of agricultural education. It was founded in 1986 at the time when Vocational Training was extended as autonomous teaching throughout the country. It offers training to young students in subjects such as Forest Management and Natural Environment, Agroecological Production, Gardening and Floristry etc.

La Ribera Food Market + Bilbao City
The “Mercado de la Ribera” is a market place in Bilbao city. It is located on the right bank of the Nervion estuary, next to the old quarter of the city. It has a commercial area of 10,000m2, which makes it the largest covered market in Europe. Inside it collects stalls selling different products, highlighting fresh food. It includes a section for the direct sale of products by local producers. Just before entering the market, the group will briefly visit the city of Bilbao.
